And on Sunday loved up couple Kate Upton and Justin Verlander flew back into Los Angeles.

The 22-year-old supermodel and her Detroit Tigers baseball superstar kept it simple, arriving with little fuss and wheeling their own luggage.

And the pair looked fit and ready to go as they strolled across the concourse at LAX to a waiting limo after the five-hour flight from JFK.

The gorgeous blonde appeared cosy in a green sweater teamed with black skinny jeans tucked into black high-heeled ankle booties.

Without make-up, her beautiful natural complexion was clear to see helped by the fact she pulled her hair up into a top-knot, giving everyone a good view of her face.

The 31-year-old wore a shirt with tiny red and white checks, black trousers and black shoes.

He turned up at JFK wearing a grey, three-quarter-length coat on what was obviously a chilly day in the city while Kate carried a bomber jacket over her arm.

During their stay in the Big Apple, the couple of 10 months were seen at a New York Knicks basketball game, where they bumped into Taylor Swift, Amanda Seyfried and her beau Justin Long.

And Justin had a lesson at the Trapeze School of New York, horrifying Tigers fans who saw the snaps of the pitcher flying through the air on both Kate and Justin's Instagram pages.

Meanwhile, after conquering the fashion world, Kate appears to have her eyes set on Hollywood following her role in romantic comedy The Other Woman earlier this year.
