It would be nice if the GE PYE22PYNFS included Precise fill, an option available in a few other GE fridges that allows you to set the number of cups of water you'd like to pour out at once. It does offer an indicator on the fridge display to display how much water have left, but it's not as useful as Precise fill.

The Smart InstaView feature is neat however it doesn't improve the performance of the fridge. In fact it took a bit longer to defrost and chill food in this refrigerator as compared to other fridges we tried. This is likely due to the greater capacity.

Another issue with this refrigerator is its doors. The handles with a sunken design allow smaller people to open them from the bottom. However, taller people still have a hard time closing them without slamming them. It would have been much better if they had handles mounted on the front.
