Should You Run Before or After a Strength Workout? On weeks 1, 5, and 12, participants completed either 30 percent or 80 percent of their one rep maxes for four different exercises: leg extension, seated military press, leg curl, and lat pulldown-3 sets of 8 to 10 reps.
