The lead was doubled just 11 minutes later when right back Kabir Balogun converted a stunning free kick that left the Flight FC goalkeeper with no chance.

Despite continued pressure and multiple second half opportunities, the scoreline remained unchanged, and Nasarawa United comfortably booked their place in the Round of 32 of Nigeria’s oldest inter club knockout competition.
