Faculty may find their exam times through the "View My Teaching Schedule" task on the Faculty Dashboard in Workday. The Registrar's Office also has a list with exam times for those classes that must have an exam by NYSED regulations. Final exams for classes that are held in the evenings are scheduled for the regular class meeting times of the final exams.

Registration

Students are encouraged to consult the exam schedule online. However it is crucial to keep in mind that the final exam schedule could change at any time. Students should therefore check with their instructors to confirm the correct time and date of their test. Students should also print out the official list of questions to bring to their exam.

Students should also familiarize themselves with the rules and conditions of the exam in addition to the exam schedule. These are on the page for each exam. Upon registration, students acknowledge that they agree to these conditions and terms.

Exam sites make every effort to accommodate those with special needs. The nature and severity of these needs must be stated on the registration form, and then confirmed by a doctor's attestation. Additionally the exam sites must respect confidentiality and be maintained.

If students are scheduled to take three tests on the same day, they must contact their department or instructor to schedule a retake test. Although it is possible to take three tests in one day, this can cause high stress levels and impact the quality of the test. Additionally, the professor may not be able to offer a makeup exam on another day.

Before taking the exam, students must prepare by reviewing their course material and practice their German skills. Please note that the exam fee is non-refundable. Examination results can only be received by email and not by telephone.
